Tim Black Photography started in March of 2006 as Black and White Services. My very first gig was a High School Conference Wrestling Tournament in Ashland. Black and White was not officially a business but I had a camera and a talent for photography. The need for creating a business and website became a priority once people began to ask how they could view the photos after the tournament. Fast-forward to today where a hobby has now turned into a thriving business.

I have since married the love of my life and share two beautiful, active children with her. I also teach full-time, which is a major reason why I don’t do photography full-time. However, being a teacher affords me some flexibility in my schedule, especially in the summers, to continue my passion for photography. All that being said, I am more selective about what I photograph. Being a husband, father, and full-time teacher means I need to prioritize my time.
